I wonder...we've stepped off the deep end?...at last...going into talking to the wind of bad times.Ah.


It was about 2001 ,we proclaimed ourselves to be Avant gardist's labor union(Avarou)...while by 1997 most of us had known each other .


Then,in each ones' band...KUIZ,Moratrium,Possession,CGO,and others,we had kept on doing small,small,musical activities in KYOTO City,Japan. Each band's music was very different,but we had good relationships ,and frequently we together performed the free style session in reharsal studio.

And Then , We performed the live performance in big "chaos" band called West Africa Punk Band(?) "Griot Yogurt Iglesias"(Notes:we are Japanese.) The chief of CD store"disc red"..Mr. Miyazaki..a nice drummer..was deeply concerned with this extempore Band. At the session, playing free from each one's usual MUSIC STYLE ,we recognized the necessity for the place where we can play together,all together.


We now know ,throuh the BODY&EARHOLE, this attitude will destroy A style and completeness. Most of Japanese likes THE ART OF A STYLE AND THE FIXED FORM. To them,DADAism is disagreeable...we will go into VACUUM. WHAT THE FUCK...anyway.


Our name- Avant gardist's Labor union .Its seed came out from Mr.NIwaribiki 's mouth. It depends on an audience's account whether we really are worthy to be called "Avant garde".I love BOGUS sound of this word.

Recently.we have performed not only in studio but also on outdoors.It is rare that all "AVAROU" members gather to play cause some of us have jobs or do not live in neighborhood , but I enjoy playing free-style music on noisy ,bustling street.In Japan,very few play "AVANT GARDE" music on street.


Nobody knows where we are going to. We want to hold an event in Kyoto city or others. We are performing in order to hear our sound.it's the biggest motive. Many Japanese audience lost the words and senses of critique.


Let's Yakekuso.(Let's go desparately crazy)
